Allsorts - anything but a card

This week at Allsorts the theme is anything but a card and that's a theme right up my alley =). I made a gift box using A little birdie from our sponsor and an image from Saturated Canary. The other sentiment is from Flonzcraft. I really love the Danish blue colour of the seam binding.

SFTW - Use diecuts/punches

Darn,
today the scheduling didn't work at all =(. Well, here's the post now anyway:

Our new Challenge at Stampin for the Weekend is:
USE DIE CUTS AND/OR PUNCHES ON YOUR CREATIONS
don't forget we need to see some stamping too!

The prize will be a wonderful surprise package - how exciting!

And I used a Lotv image to make this creation. I like the combo of pink and kraftpaper and it worked well here.

crafty creations - pink + one

Allsorts - Passion for flowers

This weeks theme at Allsorts is a bit of a double challenge, as a few weeks ago Brenda asked the DT if we would like a challenge of our own and of course we were all up for a bit of fun so she sent us all a little kit, pictured below, so we could all add our own spin along with our own choice of image.

DP's and embellies from MME Bluebell collection, TH Iron Gate, Petals from Tonic Pick of the Bunch Rose punch and stamp set, Pick of the Bunch Domes Window, Ribbon and String, Gemstones.

This is what I made:

And the challenge for you is to use flowers on your creation, easy peasy, right? ;)

Allsorts - use your name

This week I'm hosting the Allsorts challenge and I want you to use an item that starts with the same letter as your name does. Like I did with using Hearts for Helene :)
The wonderful DT at Allsorts have made some really clever things so do check them out!
Image is a Moxiegirl colouring page that I found here. They're soo lovely. The mini envelope is made using a template that you can find under Templates in the top bar.

No squares for the sick

Yesterday I was randomly cutting paper to make a box in a new shape and ended up with this.
Folded some scorelines, glued the flaps on the backside and left the front panel to be closed with the bow
And ended up with this:

Filled it with some chocolate for my two collegues, one with a stomach flue and one with the regular nasty flue so the image from Digistamp boutique felt appropriate :)

Also very appropriate that Crafty creations challenge has the theme No squares :)

Allsorts - Spring has sprung

It's Saturday and the Easter holiday is soon over :(
But it's also time for another challenge at Allsorts, at least something to be happy about :)
The theme is Spring has sprung, which is sorta true up here in the north (sunny but lots of snow still left) and I used a Magnolia image and combined the colours orange, yellow and pink to make it spring like. I handcut the shape of the card, took forever but the effect is nice I think.

other challenges:
Crafty Catz - anything goes
Crafts4eternity - colour combo
Deep ocean challenge - photo inspiration
Marvelous Magnolia - anything goes
Creative Inspiration - anything goes
Crafty ribbons - anything goes with ribbon
Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia - butterflies
Totally Tilda - shaped car
crafty creations challenge - flowers or fairies

Before and after

If I start of with this picture, you know what's coming next, don't you? ;)
Yepp, you guessed it; I've remade the upstairs bathroom. Blueberry icecream is of course a nice colour but I got seriously tired of it, not to mention the explosion of stuff crammed into (and on) the bathroom cabinets. So this is what it looks like now:

Simple, tidy, easy to clean. And all it took was a bucket of paint and a delivery from IKEA.

RSD Hat stamps

Morning,
I guess you have seen the wonderful hat stamps Rick has in his etsy shop? If you haven't you have surely missed out cause they are absolutely adorable. I have a few projects to inspire you with, just to get you going ;).
First one is a tag using 1960 coutoure style hat stamp and flowers made with a Marianne die.

And then I have a card using A 1929 hat digi stamp and a gorgeously intricate frame die, also from Marianne Design.

All images are printed on 200 g Canson watercolour paper with a Samsung CLP-365 printer and coloured with Distress markers.

Have a lovely day!
