Allsorts third birthday

We all have special people in our lives and for their birthdays we want them to have something special, right? Well, at Allsorts this week we are celebrating out Third Birthday and have the theme Birthday for someone special so that you can create with that in mind. It's bound to be wonderful :).

So what do you need to do?

* Visit each of the DT

* Leave each one a comment on their Allsorts challenge post for this week, if you don't, you won't  be in with a change of winning the prizes on offer on their individual blogs.

* Collect a 'hidden letter' from each one, arrange that into a 'secret word'

So, you should have arrived here from Nicola and your next stop on the hop is Fleur.
But you need a letter from me before you leave, don't you? Well, ok. It's the seventh letter on my DT card below.

Totally Tilda blog hop

Can you believe we have been "live" now for almost two years?? No, neither can we!
Firstly we wanted to say a huge big thank you to all of our lovely followers and for your support of the Totally Tilda blog. So what better way to say Thanks and to have some fun than a Blog Hop??

My card for this challenge is the gorgeous old bunny stamp and papers from Pion Design.

So how does this blog hop work?

Well, firstly you have to make a project to enter into the challenge that is running alongside the Blog Hop. We know how creative you all are and would love to see your fabulous Baby themed projects. Now as we said before you can use ANY Magnolia baby image that you like!
Don't forget we have THREE fabulous sponsors for the Blog Hop so there are plenty of fabulous prizes up for grabs.

Crafty Emmas Store   £10 gift certificate to spend in her store
(she is closing down so bargains to be had)

with 2 Surprise Magnolia stamps..

Then when you have submitted your entry we'd like you to hop around the rest of the Design Teams blogs and leave them some love in a comment about their creation. The order of the hop is the order in which the projects appear on the Challenge blog, so if you get lost along the way then go back to the Totally Tilda Challenge Blog and pick up from there!
Now, you're going to want to make sure you leave a comment on every DT blog because there will be some surprise candy along the way but we're not going to tell you where it is - you'll just have to wait and see!!
So you should have arrived here from Jacqui's blog, if you did you are in the right place, if not please go back to the Totally Tilda challenge blog and start from there.
The blog hop will run for the next two weeks alongside the current challenge so there is plenty of time for you to get round all the DT blogs and leave your lovely comments!
So, once you have left your comment here you should hop on over to the lovely Ali's blog where you will find yet more fabulous inspiration.

Thanks for taking part and I hope you have fun.

Allsorts - buttons and bows

This week at Allsorts the theme is buttons and bows. And I made a very clean and simple card, miles away from the cute, overly decorated ones I usually do. I'm not sure I can handle it, it kinda creeps in me to add some bits and bobs to fill up the empty spaces. Ah well, it's a challenge :)

And don't forget to enter my vintage candy!

Thank you all for joining the anniversary celebrations for Stampin for the Weekend, hop over there to see if you were one of the winners. I know who won my secret candy but I'm not telling, you'll have to go there to find out ;)

This fortnight we have a sketch for you.  I used papers from Pion design and an image from Sugar Nellie. They are a true dream to colour. And for the first time in ages I used dew-drops. I have loads but don't really fancy them, but for this layout they kinda worked. At least there are three less in the huge stash now :)

And don't forget to enter my vintage candy!

How do I love my mother - let me count the ways...

My mum is the world's greatest! She found and bought this old wooden couch for 10 Euro, took it home and painted it. All I had to do was pick it up and put new fabric on the seat. Isn't it just to die for now?

Allsorts - card for a man/boy

It's time for another challenge at Allsorts and this week I'm hosting it. I challenge you all to create a project for a man or boy.

For my card I used Edwin from the latest stamp club collection and I covered the sea star with some punched flowers :). The number kinda gives away who's getting the card but that can't be helped :)

Our sponsors this week are:

and

Addicted to Stamps

 I'm also entering:

Midweek Magnolias - monochrome

TOMIC - bingo (doo-hickey, glitter and yellow)

My vintage candy

I thought I'd give away some vintage style candy to celebrate that spring is officially here (I've put out the garden chairs on the patio) and that I have blogged for 3 years ( I started this blog in March 2009) and that my hit counter has passed 70 000.

This candy is for my followers - old and new, and I would of course be really happy if you posted about my candy on your own blogs.

Leave a comment and I'll draw a winner on May 31st.
