Allsorts - one layer cards + free sleigh template

This challenge at Allsorts was a tricky one for me. I can't resist doing layers on projects, it's like an OCD thing =). But I got some new Penny Black clear stamps last week and they are really pretty on their own so I figured I'd at least try =).

So hop on over to Allsorts and give it a go.

Other challenges:

Penny Black and more - all creatures great and small

Penny Black Saturday Challenge - green and trees

And now I suggest you hurry over and get yourself this gorgeous and free "Santa's Magical Sleigh" card making template from Card Carousel.

Allsorts - black and white plus one

Morning,
it's time for another challenge at Allsorts and the theme this time is to use black and white plus one other colour.

I chose silver and an image from Kenny K. Paper pack from Rusta. It was actually the first time I coloured an image in shades of black and I think it turned out rather nicely.

DCD - recipe for a blog hop!

Hello everyone!
Monday again and that means time for another new challenge at Die Cut Dreams.

Now this fortnight is a bit special for us here at Die Cut Dreams because not only do we have our beloved Boss Lady Susie Sugar back with us after her house move, the Die Cut Dreams shop has re-opened and the Challenge blog has also surpassed 700 followers - how cool is that??
So to celebrate we are having a BLOG HOP.
You should have arrived here from Debs blog but if not please go back to the Challenge blog and start from there.
So in order to qualify for the main prize which is:
"A Pizza Box full of Mixed Theme & Mixed Shape Die cut Dreams Designer Die cuts worth over £25 !!!"

you will need to stop by each of the Design Team members blogs and leave a comment on their challenge creation. As an added bonus some of the Design Team are also offering Candy on their blogs but you won't know which blogs the candy is on until after the Hop when we announce the winners.

So onto the challenge
The recipe for this challenge is 2 brads, 3 gems, 4 flowers
And here is my project:

Remember to leave me a comment before you go just in case I have candy on my blog.
Don't forget you have several choices; you can enter the challenge, do the hop and leave a comment on each DT member's blog in which case you could win several times or you could just do the hop, it's up to you.
From here you will need to go to the talented Chris's blog.
Have fun on the hop which lasts for the next two weeks along with the current challenge.
Winners will be announced on the Die Cut Dreams blog when we post the next challenge.

Allsorts - anything but square

This week at Allsorts we want you do create something that is anything but square. I made a gift box to put a necklace in, this one is to a beautiful baby girl as a christening gift.

Image is Hanglar, coloured with Dusty Concord. Two cuts in the paper made the necklace stay in place and I lifted it up slightly with a paper fold on the back to make it tilt.

SFTW - sketch

This fortnight at Stampin for the Weekend we have a sketch for you. I chose to use a stamp from LotV, coloured with distress inks Frayed Burlap and Stormy Sky. Paper from Tim Holtz and stamped the sentiment using a postman stamp kit from when I was a kid (yeah, I never throw anything away hehe). Punch is Martha Stewart.
