Allsorts - sugar and spice

time for a new challenge at Allsorts. It's our Tracy Mouse that has set the theme to Sugar and Spice - girly or sweet treats.
I used this really pretty LotV-image and some really affordable glitter paper from one of the local supermarkets.

Our sponsors are Crafty Devils and Scrappers Delight.

Allsorts - Pretty in pink

Time for a new challenge at Allsorts and even though the theme is Pretty in Pink I wanted to make a Christmas card since I'm in the mood (and need) for those :)
Image from LotV, snowflake dies and ripped paper. Clean and simple, flat for posting :)

Sugar cute

I'm finishing up season 6 of Drop Dead Diva and crocheted some whilst watching. Here's a card I made "just because" :) using one of the adorable images from Funky kits.
I'm entering it in:

Allsorts - Early Christmas

the challenge at Allsorts this week is Early Christmas. Yepp, you heard us, high time to get those santas out :)

I used a Hanglar image and made a vintage style Christmas card. The card has no inside, it has a tag on the back, on which you can write your greeting.

Allsorts - warm sunshiny colours

Don't know about where you live, but here autumn has surely arrived with lots of rain and really cold weather, especially in the mornings...
But the theme at Allsorts did its best to warm me up, it's to use Warm Sunshiny Colours.
A pretty Magnolia image and papers in pink, orange and yellow.

Allsorts - use a mask or a stencil

I'm in charge of the challenge at Allsorts this week and I want you to use a mask or a stencil when you create your project. I know there are loads of pretty, pretty paper out there but sometimes it's fun to create your own by using a mask or a stencil and some sort of paint. I hope you feel the same way and will be able to join us this week. The DT created wonderful projects for this challenge, but then again they usually do :). My contribution is a card with an old Hanglar image. I think the old Hanglar stamps are absolutely adorable, it's so sad they are so hard to come by these days cause there are some that I don't have :(.

To make sure there are no doubts about how I used the stencil I've added a photo of the backing paper I created :). Ordinary white paper that I distressed softly with DI weathered wood and spun sugar, then I put on the swirl stencil and spunged with DI frayed burlap. I finished it off with a stamp from Stempelglede.

Allsorts - sentimental

Oh dear, I'm so late with this post! I think it's the confusion and half panic over having to start work on Monday that cause it.
Today it's time for a new challenge at Allsorts and the theme is All Sentimental where we want to see a meaningful sentiment as focal point on your project.
Once again I got use of my beloved stamp set from Winnie and Walter and heat embossed the sentiment, clean and simple :).
