Allsorts - true blue

This week at Allsorts the theme is True Blue. I made a gift bag with two glass bottles (used to contain Prima flowers) for a fantastic director that came to coach us in Snowflake Singers before the Nordic Championship. I filled the bottles with red tea and Canadian maple syrup - after I took the photos hehe - cause she's Canadian and loves her syrup =).

Allsorts - any sport

This week at Allsorts the theme is Any sport. And what better to choose for a true northerner than skiing :). But since spring is arriving even up here, I decided to make an early Christmas card, always good to have them :). Image is from Panduro, really cute but horribly forgotten way back in the drawer.

SFTW - buttons

Morning,
time for a new challenge at Stampin for the Weekend and we want you to use buttons on your project.
Since I'm very fond of writing down things on post-its and random pieces of paper this note-holder fits me perfectly. All in one place :). I bought the post-its and the note-paper on Biltema and measured the holder after them so no template, just plain improvising :)

But I liked the outcome so much I made a couple of them :). Might show you the other ones in a later post.

Sparkling!!

Just a quick post to tell you that I'm absolutely over the moon!!!
We got the award Most improved chorus with 48 points more than last year's result and with a total of 604 amazing points we came in 4th at the Nordic Championships of Barbershop. I can still hardly believe it, we had a vision of maybe reaching 600 in the future. AND with that result our fantastic director got the title Master Director.

Allsorts - add some sparkle

This week at Allsorts the theme is to add some sparkle, and there is sparkling going on in all sorts of ways today (no pun intended hehe). Tonight I will be competing in the Nordic Championships in barbershop in Karlstad together with the fantastic barbershop choir Snowflakes. We intend to sparkle so wish us luck :).

My card for today is using a DP cut out, not a stamped and coloured image - gasp! ;) but it still turned out rather nicely.

And I also have a sparkling gift box using Black Floral from our sponsor.

Allsorts - anything but a card

This week at Allsorts the theme is anything but a card and that's a theme right up my alley =). I made a gift box using A little birdie from our sponsor and an image from Saturated Canary. The other sentiment is from Flonzcraft. I really love the Danish blue colour of the seam binding.

SFTW - Use diecuts/punches

Darn,
today the scheduling didn't work at all =(. Well, here's the post now anyway:

Our new Challenge at Stampin for the Weekend is:
USE DIE CUTS AND/OR PUNCHES ON YOUR CREATIONS
don't forget we need to see some stamping too!

The prize will be a wonderful surprise package - how exciting!

And I used a Lotv image to make this creation. I like the combo of pink and kraftpaper and it worked well here.

Other challenges:
lili's little fairies - photo inspiration
crafty creations - pink + one

Allsorts - Passion for flowers

This weeks theme at Allsorts is a bit of a double challenge, as a few weeks ago Brenda asked the DT if we would like a challenge of our own and of course we were all up for a bit of fun so she sent us all a little kit, pictured below, so we could all add our own spin along with our own choice of image.

DP's and embellies from MME Bluebell collection, TH Iron Gate, Petals from Tonic Pick of the Bunch Rose punch and stamp set, Pick of the Bunch Domes Window, Ribbon and String, Gemstones.

This is what I made:

And the challenge for you is to use flowers on your creation, easy peasy, right? ;)
